AVALON, LONGPORT TEAM UP FOR FLOOD STUDY

Avalon and Longport are taking a regional leadership role in a new study that will record data on tidal and flood events in both communities. Avalon Mayor Martin Pagliughi hosted a press conference in Avalon Tuesday afternoon to explain the study which will engage the Stockton Coastal Research Center. The goal is to generate real time flood data that can be used to seek grants for mitigation projects.
