AVALON COUNCIL APPROVES RESORT HO– USE ORDINANCE

It was unanimous in Avalon Wednesday night.  Borough Council approved a new resort house ordinance on a 5-0 vote that restricts so-called resort houses to the hotel and motel zone in town.  The resort houses are defined as large rental properties used and advertised as commercial businesses.  No one spoke out against the ordinance during the meeting.
