AVALON COUNCIL APPROVES NEW BUDGET, NO INCREASE IN TAXES

Avalon has a new municipal budget that has no increase in taxes, water and sewer fees, or beach tag fees.  The budget is funded with a ratable base of $9 billion, higher than all of Cumberland County combined.  The Borough Council noted during the presentation on Wednesday that the Borough is aiming to be debt-free in the coming years.
