AVALON CONSIDERS BAN ON SINGLE USE PLASTIC BAGS, OTHER PRODUCTS

Avalon’s Borough Council will consider a new ordinance that would ban single use plastic bags and other single use products that would take effect next year.  A presentation on Avalon’s “Clean Water Initiative” was presented Wednesday afternoon, which also includes other efforts to keep plastics and debris out of the waters.  An ordinance could be introduced at the July 11th meeting.
