AVALON APPROVES SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT INVOLVING MARINA DISPUTE

The Avalon Planning and Zoning Board met Wednesday night and approved a new settlement that ends a dispute involving a marina development on 21st Street.  The settlement obligates the developer to keep 20 boat slips available to the public to rent, along with the construction of a new boardwalk, gazebo and other amenities.  The Borough will repair a seawall and conduct utility improvements.
