AVALON ADVANCES MAJOR FLOOD STUDY FOR NORTH END OF COMMUNITY

Avalon Mayor Martin Pagliughi announced that the Borough has advanced a major flood study to its final stage.  The study will examine solutions to flooding in the north end beach blocks that occurs during extreme rainfall events in a very short period of time.  Avalon has two pump stations to serve the north end and is examining the performance of the pumps along with the water conveyance system.
