AUTHORITIES LOOKING FOR AC SHOOTER FROM SATURDAY

Authorities are seeking a suspect or suspects in connection with a shooting in Atlantic City Saturday night that left a man seriously injured, Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel stated Sunday.

Atlantic City police responded for a 911 call at 10:30 p.m. last night to Brown’s Park across the street from the School House apartments, which is located on Arctic Avenue. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 24-year-old Atlantic City man suffering from three gunshot wounds, one to the face, one to the head and one to the arm. Atlantic City police notified the Prosecutor’s Office Shooting Response Team who responded to the scene shortly after the incident and are conducting the investigation along with the Atlantic City Police Department, Prosecutor Housel said.

The victim, whose identity is not being released at this time, was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, for treatment of his injuries. He is listed in stable condition at this time, Prosecutor Housel said.
