New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal announced on Tuesday that 24 men were arrested in early September for attempting to lure teenage boys and girls for sexual activity. A multi-agency undercover sting called “Operation Open House” caught the child predators, who used social media to contact teens and children for sex. Among the arrests were Richard Hoffman, 23, of Mays Landing, a firefighter and college student, and 31 year-old Joshua Rauter of Little Egg Harbor Township, a public works employee.
