ATLANTIC COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING CRASH

Authorities are seeking witnesses to a one-vehicle crash in Absecon on Saturday that left one man dead. At 9:54 p.m. Saturday night, members of the Absecon Police Department responded to the single-car crash at milepost 53.9 on Route 30. It is alleged that the driver, Sundeep S. Sekhon, 34, of Atlantic City, was traveling east when he lost control of his vehicle, veered off Route 30 into a marsh, and struck a telephone pole. The passenger, Amarinder Singh Sandul, 31, of Virginia, was killed on impact. Notification of next of kin has been made. The driver was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, and was treated and released.

Anyone with information into the crash is asked to call (609) 909-7667. No motor vehicle or criminal charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is continuing.
