Atlantic County government will host a 9/11 anniversary ceremony on the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our country. It will serve as a solemn remembrance of the nearly 3,000 victims who tragically lost their lives on that fateful day as well as a grateful tribute to our courageous first responders who risk their lives to protect the safety and well being of their fellow citizens
The ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 11 AM (rain or shine)at the Anthony “Tony” Canale Training Center, 5033 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
The ceremony will feature local fire, police and EMS representatives, patriotic musical selections, color guards, bag pipers, memorial wreaths, a portion of a steel beam from the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City. U.S. Congressman Frank LoBiondo will provide the keynote address.
