ATLANTIC CITY WANTS EXPRESSWAY TOLLS DOUBLED, REVENUE COMES TO CITY

An innovative request by the Atlantic City Council on Wednesday.  Council approved a resolution to ask the Atlantic City Expressway to double its tolls, with the increased revenue coming directly to the city.  City leaders say this could result in an extra $15 million coming to the city’s coffers, if approved.
