ATLANTIC CITY COP ARRESTED AFTER BEING INDICTED FOR USING EXCESSIVE FORCE

An Atlantic City Police Officer was arrested Thursday after being indicted on charges that he used excessive force during an arrest five years ago that resulted in serious wounds to a Linwood man from a police dog.  Sterling Wheaten has been indicted by a grand jury in the case, accused of using the excessive force and for writing up false police reports.
