ASSEMBLY PUSHES FOR FAMILY PLANNING FUNDING TO BE RESTORED

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgA bill was passed in the Assembly to restore $5 million of the $7.5 million that was cut from the budget for family planning clinics. These clinics serve uninsured women. Some of these clinics had suffered financial hardships following the loss of state aid. Bill supporters note that none of the money would go to fund abortions.
