ASSEMBLY MAY CONSIDER BILL LOOKING AT SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

New legislation could be considered in Trenton that would take a look at where special interest groups are putting their dollars. The bill would tell these groups that their contributions and where they spend their dollars would have to be disclosed. Any group that spends or raises at least $2,100 would fall into this category. Bill sponsors say this is a way for more transparency to take place, especially during the campaign process.
