ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE MOVES FORWARD CASINO BILL

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgThe Assembly pushed forward legislation to help out Atlantic City’s struggling casinos. A key committee approved a number of bills, including one that would create a tourism district in Atlantic City. Discussion in Trenton is that a special police force would be created for that area to ensure safety, while the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority would oversee it.
