APPROVAL RATING SLIPPING SOME FOR CHRISTIE

The approval numbers are still good, but Gov. Chris Christie continues to lose some of his popularity. A new Rutgers-Eagleton poll says the governor has the support of 66 percent of the state, down four points from June. Christie’s ratings got very high following Hurricane Sandy, but have slowly slipped over the past months. He is still expected  to win by a wide margin in November against Barbara Buono for reelection.
