APPEAL DENIED IN CRAIG WHITE MURDER CASE

The former Middle Township man who was convicted of killing his 18 year-old cousin in February of 1990 was denied an appeal by a state appellate court on Friday. Jesse Watkins was denied post-conviction relief on his 45-year prison sentence for killing Craig White, over 20 years after White’s disappearance. Watkin’s conviction was based on statements he made to two former lovers. White’s body has never been recovered.
