ANTI-TERRORISM FENCING BEING INSTALLED ALONG GARDEN STATE PARKWAY

You may have noticed that a fence is being installed at the base of the Garden State Parkway bridge over the mouth of the Great Egg Harbor River off Beesley’s Point. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the new fencing is being installed to protect the bridge from terrorists. According to the report, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has launched a $7 million project to install high-security fencing around all the major bridges along the Garden State Parkway. The fencing will also be installed around the Mullica and Bass River Bridges in South Jersey.
