An Antares rocket was successfully launched Monday night from the NASA facility at Wallops Island, Virginia, and was visible to residents throughout the Jersey Cape. The launch site is only about 80 miles south of Cape May and carried a Cygnus capsule with more than 5,000 pound of food equipment and experiments bound for the International Space Station.
