ANOTHER DEMOCRATIC BUDGET BATTLE LOOMS IN TRENTON

It’s very possible another government shutdown in New Jersey may come in seven weeks, and democrats who lead the state will be to blame.  Governor Phil Murphy is facing stiff resistance from his own party for a proposed increase in the sales tax, and they also don’t like Murphy’s plan to provide free tuition to county colleges..because the state cannot afford it.  Lawmakers have until the end of June to adopt a new budget.
