ANOTHER CONTENTIOUS MEETING IN LOWER TOWNSHIP OVER MUA ISSUE

It was another rough night last night as the Lower Township Council continued to be peppered with questions and comments regarding a major controversy at the township’s municipal utilities authority.  Residents continued to ask mayor and council for swift firm action regarding issues involving MUA Executive Director Matthew Ecker.  Ecker has been suspended with pay for two months while an investigation into improper activities at the MUA continues.  That investigation involves the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
