ANOTHER BEACH COMMUNITY FIGHTS STATE’S DUNE PROJECT

Another beach community is now fighting the State’s plans to install protective dunes.  Risden’s Beach in Point Pleasant Beach is a privately owned beach community and residents say the State’s plan is only a disguised attempt to have a public, and not private, beach.  The NJDEP says it has no intentions nor any interests in operating the beach, just protecting the community.
