The Cape May County Shelter and Adoption Center is celebrating its 7th birthday this week. The staff is holding an open house complete with refreshments and a tour of the facility. Also, beginning on July 15 and runnning through July 21, all adoption fees will be cut in half. The adoption fees include spay/neuter procedures, microchipping, vaccinations and a free vet visit. The open house will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Cape May County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center is located at 110 Shelter Road in the Crest Haven Complex (exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway). The Shelter is open to the public Monday through Friday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
