ALBANO: EXPECT BUDGET VOTE BY JUNE 24

albanoThe final stages of the budget battle between Republicans and Democrats will be taking shape over the next few weeks. Assemblyman Nelson Albano tells Coastal Broadcasting that a budget vote is expected on June 24. If passed on that date, there would be less than 10 days to negotiate any changes with Gov. Chris Christie. Democrats and Christie have been on different sides of some keys issues, though 1st district lawmakers like Albano believe the budget will get done. If a budget isn’t passed by the end of the month, a government shutdown would occur.
