“AID IN DYING” BILL SET FOR A VOTE MONDAY IN TRENTON

New Jersey may become the eighth state in the union to have an “aid in dying” bill for the terminally ill.  Lawmakers will cast a final vote Monday on the legislation that will provide a legal right for terminally ill patients to decide when they want to die.  If it passes, the bill moves to the desk of Governor Phil Murphy.
