ACTING EDUCATION COMMISSIONER DECLINES TO SPEAK AT TEACHER'S CONVENTION

NJEAThe New Jersey Education Association says the state’s top education official declined an offer to speak at their convention. It is the first time in the 156-year history of the convention that this has taken place. Acting Commissioner Rochelle Hendricks said the union’s lack of interest in discussing reforms to the state’s education system was the reason. The convention is taking place in Atlantic City.
