A motor vehicle accident has closed Avalon Boulevard just outside of Avalon Saturday evening. A notice issued by the Avalon Office of Public Information reports that a motor vehicle accident occurred early Saturday evening outside of Avalon and the Boulevard will be closed for a few to several hours Saturday evening. Emergency personnel and electric company crews are at the scene of the accident.
