AAA SAYS MORE PEOPLE ON ROADWAYS FOR HOLIDAY SEASON

Holiday travel in New Jersey is expected to increase this year. New numbers were released by AAA Mid-Atlantic. The predictions show at nearly one percent increase on road travel. According to a survey of traveler intentions, the average distance traveled by Americans during the year-end holidays is expected to be 726 miles, a decline from 2010-11 when travelers planned to log 1,052 miles however, median spending is expected to be $718 up 3% from last year.
