8:34PM: SOME CALL RACE FOR MENENDEZ, NUMBERS TIGHTEN UP

At least one news organization projects Senator Robert Menendez will be re-elected in New Jersey due to exit polls, but the race has tightened up.  With nearly one percent of the vote in, Menendez leads republican Bob Hugin by three percentage points.  However, hundreds of thousands of votes still need to be counted.
