8:01PM: POLLS CLOSE IN STATE, VOTERS HAVE DECIDED

The mid-term elections are over.  New Jersey closed its polling locations exactly at 8:00pm Tuesday and now the votes are being counted up.  In Cape May County, there are some important seats to fill, including one seat on the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders.  Democrats are hopeful to turn the congressional seat over to their party, while republicans are hopeful that pre-election polls were wrong and Bob Hugin has a chance to unseat Robert Menendez.
