60.5% OF NEW JERSEY VOTERS SUPPORTED CHRIS CHRISTIE

The final numbers are almost in, and they show a resounding win for Governor Chris Christie in the New Jersey gubernatorial election.  With 99 percent of the vote counted, Christie collected 60.5 percent of the popular vote in New Jersey, compared to 38 percent of the votes going to democrat Barbara Buono.   During his victory speech, Christie called himself “the luckiest man in the world” and also thanked Buono for a spirited campaign.
