3 NORTH JERSEY MEN ARRESTED IN CALLOUS TELEMARKETING SCHEME

Three North Jersey men, all in their thirties, were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly scamming senior citizens in a telemarketing scam. Christopher Wilson, Jack Kavner and Daniel Quirk were all charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Authorities said the three men are accused of operating telemarketing firms that solicited investments in bogus business development, targeting seniors who were at least 70 years-old. The three men could spend up to 20 years in jail if convicted of their charges.
