$22 MILLION IN COASTAL RESILIENCE GRANTS ANNOUNCED FOR WILDWOOD AND NORTH WILDWOOD

On Thursday the Christie Administration officially announced grants of nearly $22 million to the cities of Wildwood and North Wildwood to fix flooding issues in their communities. Wildwood will be getting $12.32 million to redirect storm water from Pacific Avenue and build a pumping station on Leaming Avenue near the Boardwalk. North Wildwood receives nearly $10 million for a pump station and storm water improvements in the Hereford Inlet area. It’s now up to the two cities to get bids on the projects and begin the work.
