$2.3 MILLION FOR NEW CORSONS INLET BRIDGE RAILINGS

The Cape May County Bridge Commission will spend over $2 million on new bridge railings for the Corsons Inlet Bridge.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the contract is going to Thomas Barry Marine Construction of Dennis Township.  This bridge was the site of an accident earlier this year that resulted in a car skidding off the bridge and falling into the water below.  Two teenagers in the SUV were not seriously injured.  The bridge work is expected to be completed by Memorial Day weekend 2012.
