Governor Phil Murphy has committed $4 million in state money to rebuild the Wildwood boardwalk. City officials made the announcement Thursday afternoon. Mayor Pete Byron says the $4 million allocation will get this project off to a “great start”. Wildwood’s boardwalk was damaged last April during a severe wind storm.
