The company that owns the Cumberland Mall has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. PREIT announced Monday that it has filed for protection for its three malls, which also include the Moorestown Mall and the Cherry Hill Mall. Lenders have agreed to another $150 million in financing.

Testa issued a press release saying immediate steps must be taken to protect corrections officials and inmates. Testa said the Department has failed to do an adequate job.
Cumberland County has expanded its coronavirus testing opportunities. Officials announced this week that a drive through testing facility is opening at Rowan College, Vineland campus. Tests will be done on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and individuals will need a prescription to be tested.
