AVALON DISCUSSES PLASTICS PROHIBITION, CONSTRUCTION HOURS

The Avalon Borough Council met Wednesday afternoon and moved forward on an ordinance that would prohibit the use of single use plastic bags, straws, and styrofoam products.  Council also addressed some concerns from the public regarding the activities by some contractors who willfully violate ordinances established by the Borough.
